Hello World!

Not so much of a long time ago...

I went traveling to 5 destinations around the world to Hawaii to France to Brazil to Dubai to the Bahamas. It was so much fun all the sights, monuments, and more fun! The beautiful beaches, amusement parks, trills, relaxation, landmarks and monuments, and the nature sights. This just so happened yesterday when I finally got home from all of my travels that sadly had to end. Well I am about to write about all my travels, thoughts and a few of what I think you should go see if you ever get to go there. Oh and of course some helpful tips about those locations. Well now it's time to embark on an  adventure around the world with Ariana!

Travel to Maui Hawaii!

Sunshine and sand in Maui Hawaii:

And so my time in Hawaii was AMAZING! Oh paradise, paradise, paradise all the time, oh what fun is it to go to perfect paradise. YAY la la la la la la la!
And so my trip to Hawaii was great! I highly recommend for you to go to Hawaii or anywhere where tropical beaches are because I am beach crazy! The sky during sunset was beautiful with the warm weather, beautiful colors painted on the sky, the soft waves smoothing out the sand so perfect I didn't want to walk on it and ruin the perfect smooth sand. But of course my logic sense had to say that the waves would just smooth it out again so I  went in the water which I have to admit I had no regrets what so ever.

Anyways not only the beach was great and all but I also went on a boat tour! The boat tour was named Maui Boat tours and of course the trip was breathtaking. I went on the best day on Maui tour and I can see why they named it like that. I thought at first the tour was named like that to call attention like when an advertisement says that their product is the best. And then when you buy it turns out that you've used better ones than that product. But it was truly the best in my opinion cause we all know how those stuck up people are about. Anyways not the point of this post so let’s get on with it. On the boat tour I went snorkeling and saw sea turtles. The sea turtles were huge and some where small but they were not slow like how we stereotype turtles as slow stiff turtles. They were graceful and fast in every move they toke while I was struggling on how to snorkel which seem easy in the movies and in reality it's not. But sooner or later (don't know which) I got the hang of it and it all went downhill from there. There was a BBQ lunch, and of course the dolphins. When dolphin watching came I was extremely excited that I COULD NOT hold still. Then when I saw them they were jumping and talking their dolphin talk of theirs, and splashing and playing and it was such a great tour. After the tour I was really tired but happy from the wonderful tour and if I could get another chance to do it all again I would do it in a heartbeat. :) Oh and here are some pics ;)

Back at the hotel I went to the spa and took to more of a relaxation and did some yoga. After my exciting adventures I stayed at the beach and visited more places. I walked around the gardens of the hotel too and toke surfing lessons which I totally failed but at the end learned how to surf. After this I went hiking to the tall Mt. Haleakala one of the places on the top of the 10 most Maui attractions. So glad I brought hiking clothing and equipment cause if I didn't that hike to the top would have been a disaster. Volcanic landscape, back country trails, and sub tropical rain forests sure made all that hiking stuff worth it. The mountain was a sight to remember but the bugs...not so much. SO ANNOYING. But who can blame all the creepy crawlers when I was the one invading their home so...yeah. The air so clean and clear the sounds of cars rooming by and all those city sounds were gone left behind and replaced by the clean air and the sounds of birds tweeting, trees swaying softly in the breeze...at peace with no city sounds around to spoil such a moment except for the mosquitoes. Mosquitoes there and here everywhere. Now I didn't feel bad on invading on the mosquitoes with mosquito spray no regret or guilt they are a menace! But back to the good side. If you ever get to go to the peak it will be a breath taking site. I got there at sunrise and that was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen that whole trip. Stayed at the top for a while watching nature's beautiful sunrise which mother nature sure did a great job of doing. Travel to Paris, France!

Bread, and bread,  and more bread, and the Eiffel Tower!

And thus started my journey to Paris, France which to many is the city of lights, love, or whatever they think but to me I think as Paris as the city of bread and bread and more bread and the Eiffel tower. I don't know about you but I will always believe Paris is mostly about bread and a beautiful tower. Bread, Bread, Bread, Bread, Bread, Bread, Tower, Tower, Bread. Now enough about the bread and on to the rest about the trip. So I got to the hotel and was so impressed cause these french people sure do know how to live fancy. And so as I said about the bread before I saw lots of bread bakeries. But enough bread that hotel was extremely fancy fancy fancy! It was so fancy I can't explain it with words so I'll just show you a picture.

Extremely Fancy for everything at the hotel I couldn't believe I was going to stay there for 10 days. Anyways I went to the Eiffel Tower which was so great during the day but at night the Eiffel tower was so amazing it looked so magical! The lights sparkling through the night the beam of light cutting open the sky with it's glorious light spitting the night sky. Oh the sight was so beautiful. The floor was so clean and neatly sweep, they truly do keep the Eiffel tower beautiful. So much to do here. Ice skating in the winter. Planning to go to Paris in the winter. And fun gift boutiques.  More pics :)

Never knew that there was a Disney Park here! So there I was going on a website trying to find out where to visit next when I saw Disney Park in Paris on the website. Went to Alice's Curious Labyrinth was so fun. It was a maze and I got lost a bit and the Cheshire cat's smile was everywhere. Card soldiers were poping up everywhere too screaming that popular phrase "Off with their heads."
I saw some interesting creatures too and it seemed that I was in Alice in wonderland getting lost with the confusion and all the characters adding to the madness of the attraction. The woods was the most confusing and the place where Alice was in the room with the different doors was also there all in different sizes. I was so happy that I got to go in Wonderland as well. ;) Then I went to Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains. You might not know what this was I I didn't either so I was SO SURPRISED that it was actually a mini cart ride where they toke you on a ride to see snow white and the 7 dwarfs. I saw the evil queen, the haunted forest, and the 7 dwarfs cottage. I also went on Crush's Coaster and R.C Racer. Fast and one of the rides you HAVE to go on. I also went on the Toy Soldiers Parachute drop and Star Tours.

Really Fun
 Rides!

Travel to Rio do Janeiro!

Tropical birds and a whole lot of songs from Rio de Janeiro!

Now we go south for the next trip to Brazil! And way over the countless miles of water I finally land at the airport. Tired and sleepy from the whole plane ride I take a cab and get to the hotel. At the hotel I checked in and they carried my luggage and showed me to my room and for their help I went and gave them a token of my appreciation cause I would've broke down half way to my room if I had to carry my luggage. So when I got there I hit the hay and slept for what seemed forever and woke up well rested seeing that it was actually the afternoon. But I didn't care.  But I did get clean and well get dressed and all. When I looked out the window I saw the sparkling beach with the sun's golden rays, white smooth sand fined into the smallest grains, and crystal blue water splashing on the gorgeous shore.

http://www.zastavki.com/pictures/originals/2013/World___Brazil_Beach_in_Rio_de_Janeiro_037464_.jpg

So when I was gazing at that beautiful scene I thought to myself "tomorrow I will go to the beach. And that's how it went. When I stepped in the water the water was warm and I could see my feet really clearly. That amazed me so much cause whenever I went to the beaches in the U.S I couldn't see my feet in the water. I couldn't. So when I could see what was under the water I was amazed but I was a little um somewhat jealous on how in the U.S the water wasn't as clear as in Rio when the water is the same water around the world but I guess it’s because in the U.S there is more water contamination or something like that with all the factories we have there. Tip to for Rio: When you go to Rio try to find the most elegant clothing but not the expensive clothing that is elegant either cause here the Brazilians judge on what you wear and if it's elegant or not and on your appearance instead of how your personality is. And so thus ends my tip. But the beaches are great! They are a pretty sight to see and it says beauty all over the beach. Going to the beach is a must do!

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02264/rio_2264586b.jpg
In Rio I also went to the famous statue Christ the Redeemer or Cristo Redentor. It stands on the peak of a 2,300 ft. mountain overlooking the city, Rio de Janeiro. When I was packing necessary things like water, charged camera, sun block, watch, sunglasses, travel size umbrella, little snacks, a hat, bug spray, a charged cellophane (in case I can get a signal), napkins, and a map. And I also brought pocket money in Brazilian money called Brazilian real. But I was not going to go by walking (even if it was allowed) I was going by train. The fee was 36 Brazilian Real dollars. (Tip: the train comes back to the station every 30 minutes.) I could afford that cause the pocket money I had was actually a lot more than pocket money but you have to keep that a secret there if you want to have all your money safe. But since I am back home I don't need to keep it a secret no more. The train ride had spectacular scenery especially on the right hand side. Lucky me I did sit on the right hand side. So tip of advice sit at the right hand side to see the most spectacular views during the train ride. When the ride was over I got off the train and that's when I saw the most spectacular view yet! The statue Christ the Redeemer was right above me. It was the moment I was waiting for. I was looking down on the city everything looked so small and it was just amazing that you have to go visit Christ the Redeemer because it is a most do too. I took a bunch of pics. The trip was awesome and there were so many awesome memories at the top of the peak. No regrets even if the heat that day was greatly filled with heat and humidity. But that was one of my highlights in trip.

Travel to Dubai!

Deserts, Camels, Ocean, Cities, all in Dubai!

And so Now we go to Dubai another LONG trip! The flight was soooooo boring that I couldn't believe that boredom could actually get even worse when I have studied and do projects and homework in the past. But such boredom exists. Now off with part of my boring life and time to get on with the fun part of my trip. So when I got to the airport it was HOT! I guess it's because the temperature in Dubai can get up to 113 degrees Fahrenheit in June. But I'm here in July so it must be hotter over there now. So this begins a new story of a person in a huge oven or a turkey getting roasted in a hot oven for thanksgiving cause that's how I felt over there. I couldn't believe the residents in that place didn't even sweat as much as I did. HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!!!!!!!!(I would add so much more exclamation points but that would be a waste of time and energy.) I am so sorry but it is the truth! Dubai was HOT! (Tip of advice: try to not show to much skin in Dubai so people don't go looking at you like a weirdo since the people there have different beliefs and religions.)But that didn't stop me from having a good time either. When I got to the hotel I was wiped out again so yeah I hit the hay again too.... So when I woke up I found that the whole world was awake around me since it was late afternoon while I just woke up. I take hygiene for myself very serious cause me don't want to smell or feel dirty so I cleaned myself (of course) and threw on a relax tee and some shorts cause I was going to just get settled around the hotel and flip on the TV. When dinner came I went over to room service and ordered dinner cause I felt like a lazy cat so yeah. The food was delicious and the flavors so new and different from the ones in the U.S that it was my most favorite out of my whole trip. Soon it was dawn and as the sky was turning to pinkish purple to night sky blue I went out my balcony looking over wondering what to do tomorrow.

(Picture of the hotel at night)

Now Starts a new day and the sun shone through the sky. I had a full hot breakfast which was was a complimentary breakfast. Now remember when I said I was absolutely beach crazy? Well the next day the first thing I did was...(Drum roll please) The Beach! It was very close to the hotel which is really a resort but oh well life is not perfect so I will call it a hotel. (excuse and sorry for the rudeness if it was rude to you.) Anyways I went to the to the beach with sunblock, sunglasses, a flower hat, a towel, and necessary beach stuff. The beach or where the resort was called was Palm Jumeirah, a place where supposedly was a great place for travelers looking for relaxation and a sunny beach. ( As stated on the website for the hotel.) They were not lying cause everything was true about it. The beach was so sunny, calm, relaxation in the beach, light blue waves smoothing the shore out, and golden sand. The water was warm and so blue that I thought that this type of beaches only existed in the movies. Here is how Palm Jumeirah is like. (1st pic) and the resort (2nd pic)

One of the places I went to the the yellow boats and went sight seeing around Dubai and there was a bunch of photo opportunities every second of the ride. But everywhere I went were long lines and so I was bored I chatted with another tourist who says she was from the U.s too. And I also went to Dubai's old town which was exactly on how Dubai used to be in the early days and like walking back to the past as I saw merchants selling perfumes, spices, textiles, and fish. It was like being in the movie Aladdin. Then I saw Dubai museum which was built with what looked like sand! It was built in 1787 which is the oldest building standing in Dubai today. So cool with the audio and videos explaining the past and there culture's roots. And I also went to Dubai Dophinarium. There were dolphin and seal shows plus a magician and a bird show about 20 of the most rarest birds. Very enjoyable and educational too. And so Dubai is probably one of the most amazing and interesting places in the world that you must go too.

Travel to the Bahamas!

Must be Hawaii's twin sister because this is also paradise! The Bahamas!

Well I landed in the airport called the Grand Bahama International airport. I had to wait in a line that was sooo long. The boredom got to me and a lot of other people as well. I was taking note of things I could write about so I could remember my last vacation destination before I went back home and got ready for school. I needed a pencil or a pen to write in my travel notebook when I asked a girl in front of me. We had this long conversation that made time go so fast and I didn't even notice when I was just a couple of people away from the passport station. She was also from the U.S and she lived in Virginia which is not so far from Maryland. So we wrote down each others email address and before we knew it, it was her turn already to pass through the passport station. So we had to say goodbye and I gave her back her pencil. Picture of the airport.

Got to the hotel at early sunset, checked in, and went inside the hotel. In the hotel it was decorated with Caribbean style decor and it was so pretty. The window looked out the lovely beach painted with the sunset sky. The sky was painted with orange, purple, pink, and a light jean blue. The sky was so beautiful. And the gentle waves softly hitting the warm gold sand. And the light breeze in my hair as I opened the window. It looked like this:

Late sunset

Oh and the hotel was wonderful. It was shaped like no other hotel I had ever see in this whole trip. It was in a stair case form with blue and yellow painted on it. It had a bunch of palm trees in the front of the hotel (which really is a resort) and a wavy pool around the palm trees not to far from the beach. My room, as mentioned before had Caribbean decor in it. Well that decor and my cozy room with the patio really made me feel like I was back in paradise again. It was really lovely.

The next day I went to the beach which was warm from all of summer's heat since it was August all ready. The beach was this beautiful turquoise blue. The sun's gold string rays were coming in softly so it wasn't to hot that day and the sand looked white like crystal white in the early afternoon. The water was splashing on me for the tide was high that time of day. Then I saw this girl who looked very familiar. It was the french girl I met in the Eiffel tower! It looked liked she was as surprised as me. We both started having a very long chat about why we came here and what have we done so far this summer and how much traveling we have done. It was such a fun day at the beach.

I also went to Garden of the Groves which is a beautiful tropical nature tour around showing the  animals and the plants in the Bahamas. I also went to Peterson Cay a nice place to go Kayaking and snorkeling where you could see so many tropical fish and sea life. The water is Crystal clear and you could clearly see the world underneath the water. And I went to the Rand memorial nature center. It was a beautiful nature walk with so many pretty exotic birds. And glorious exotic tropical plants. And a great shopping center called Port Lucaya Market place. It had shopping malls, flea markets and street markets, and souvenir shops and good places to eat. One traveling tip is that they sometimes double charge you if you use credit card. Also the shops and restaurants can be really expensive. And it is a little creepy after dark here. Back to the story. I visited Leo's Art Gallery. A great place to see wonderful art and the man there Leo told me and other people all about the stories behind each painting. Leo is very talented. The paintings were on sale too so I bought three. Very beautiful. Tip of advice: bring money here because you would fall in love with the wonderful paintings.
